High School Senior Photo
Circa 1942. Here's another photo that was within albums belonging to my in-laws. This is the high school senior portrait of Helen, my mother-in-law. When I saw this, I was flabbergasted by not only the technical excellence of this studio style portrait, but also the straightforward honesty of her pose.
This appears most likely to be a contact print off of a 3-1/2" x 5" sheet negative, perfect for a framed desk photo.
The textured surface of the photo is a bit distracting, admittedly, but the essence of the portrait shines through.
