Perspective
The open-air interior of Fort Jefferson. Most of the people who had come to the island on our boat had wandered the fort in a group tour while Robin and I were wandering between beaches, getting ready to not snorkel. They'd all moved to the beach by the time we gave up and shifted to the fort, leaving us mostly alone in the place. It was very quiet here, with only the sound of tropical breeze and sea splash. I could have happily found some place to sit and silently watch the sea.
