waterproof camera

I like these containers from Lock and Lock for making watertight enclosures. The silicone gaskets work really well, at a tiny fraction of the cost of a Pelican box. Of course, no adhesive (except one very expensive one from 3M) will stick to polypropylene, so the trick to making waterproof enclosures is to use plates sandwiched on either side, and a gasket. For brass plates, the gasket is cork gasket material from an automotive store, for the front window, I used silicone caulk. It won't stick to the polypropylene, but it does form an excellent gasket.
