This instrument was used for the precise recording and comparative study of different size skulls. These instruments are extremely rare and examples are almost never found outside of a museum. I decided to make this piece because of the rarity and have never seen a replica version of it.
Although this piece was originally made to be functional , my version is for decorative purposes only.
This piece is made from Copper, Brass, Resin and wood.
The skull is a highly detailed SOMSO brand skull model that has been slightly aged which comes with the craniometer. You may change out the skull to another one from your collection if you wish.
