An evening commuter rests while waiting for his train, in the metallic surrounds of Britomart station.

 

Britomart is main terminal station in Auckland. It opened in 2003 when the line was extended in tunnel into the CBD. The tracks and platforms are underground, while the old post office building is used as the entry.
