wildlife crossing

A wildlife crossing on a newly rebuilt section of the Pacific Highway (mid north coast, NSW Australia). Newer sections of the highway are bordered by tall wildlife fencing, to prevent injury to both wildlife and people. Crossings like this allow the wildlife to still cross the road, so that the road does not become a barrier. The aerial line permits arboreal animals to cross the road, without coming down to the ground.
