Miquez (Heather) 19, and Larry Joe Morton (Loretta) 24, were placed on the City Court Docket by two members of the the vice squad in connection with an act at The Door (a lounge at 1786 Madison) in which men were impersonating females. They were charged with appearing in public in the clothing of females. Brave young men.
The detectives said all four of the men were made up realistically in female costumes and wigs. During the act, the detectives said, the men sang songs, kissed each other and kissed customers. - as reported in an article byt the Memphis Press-Scimitar
