I went on safari!!!! Peter had some business to do in Birmingham and I didn't want to go, so he dropped me at the West Midlands Safari Park. I booked a safari bus to take me through the park and as I was the only one on the bus, I was able to take photos from either side without annoying anyone else. I stood and watched the hippos for ages and got some open mouth shots (something I have never managed to do on our trips to Africa. These were taken with my Canon 70-200 mm 2.8 IS L series lens. I have found that I haven't used this lens much as it has been a bit restrictive at times, but did very well for my trip to the park.
