Lace Monitor

When we were driving home from Forster (on the north coast of NSW), we called in to a fish shop near Hexham to buy some fish. As I was getting back into the car I spotted two Lace Monitors walking towards the undergrowth. It was not the huge one that I saw a while back, so I am guessing that this was a mother and baby. The mother would have been around 5 foot in length.
