On the outward journey the station master had been concerned for me as I lay on my back trying to frame a shot of the many lovely angles in his station. I explained what I was about. On my way back, he again saw me at it, and gave me two postcards of the station, one in victorian times, the other from the 1970's as momentos. Had to comemorate the moment, that's him going back to the ticket office. And because I wanted to catch the moment, the shot showed me the beautiful contrast between evening blue outside and gold inside. I'd been shooting in sepia to catch angles, started snapping, hoping the train doors wouldn't close! to catch the colours
