28/366 Dancing to New Wave...

I really enjoy a good crop.

I didn't want you to see my face while I was dancing.

 

Dancing and drink are the only things that make me happy lately.

 

My life is starting to remind me of this song:

 

When I got into the party

it was already late

everyone was drinking

they were dancing to new wave

so i got onto a table

so you could all hear me say

"this doesn't feel like new wave"

 

I was feeling sort of sober

on account of that drink

and I stumbled into his arms

and I felt like I was dreaming

and I stared into his fake eyes

until I almost fell asleep

he said "I'm not who you think"

Except I've replaced all the "hers" with a "his." But yes those are the only changes I made to the lyrics. Please don't shoot me.

 

What's funny is that a few years ago I was at a party and I actually said "this doesn't sound like new wave."

 

Although I didn't get on top of a table.
