1977 Carlton Pro frameset with various components, campag, dura-ace, milremo, fiamme, cinelli. Built when I was 15 YOA when I used to ride with Cleveleys Road Club (Near Blackpool, UK). Still got the bike today (9/9/2012) (though stripped pending re-build). To similar or near spec as original.
Frame bought in 1977 from my Aunt's shop - Marton Cycles in Blackpool. Paid £75.00 new for it back then. Think I got it at cost. Reynolds 531 DB frame and forks, campagnolo BB with Campag rear and front drop out's. All other kit was bought with Saturday money job. Campag Record Strada crankset and BB. Shimano Dura-ace gears, front, back and shifter (all black). Shimano arabesque 600 brakes with Modolo drilled levers, cinelli quill stem, berelli bars, milremo fluted 27.2 seatpost and milremo pro saddle. Shimano 600 hubs / Fiamme red label rims with tub set. Black gipiemme sport pedals with christophe toe clips and alfredo binda toe straps. Think these photos were taken in the early 80's or late 70's. I still have the bike today with mainly same parts. Also have a 1977/78 Carlton-Weinmann cycling shirt (which of course is now too small for me!).
