Emptiness.

This stretch near the marina is a well walked route to downtown Circuit Ave. in Oak Bluffs (and one of my very favorite daily strolls). Off season, it looks strikingly empty. By Memorial Day, people will be seated on the benches, pedestrians will crowd the sidewalk, and boats will be docked in between nearly every pole.
