LS&I RSD-15 2403 (83054 6/60) ex ATSF 9844 nee ATSF 844 @Presque Isle ore yd, Marquette MI 8-21-86 When I went to the LS&I offices to get a permit for Eagle Mills, they told me that a boat (on the lakes, all vessels are boats regardless of size) would be in about 8 that evening and that I should be down at the ore dock at that time to see it come in. When I got there the yard was full of loaded jennies and three Alligators were burbling away at the yard office.
