In a collection of ‘Miscellaneous Records’ relating to Flintshire history (ref: D/DM/223), there is a fascinating scrapbook of manuscript engravings and poems from the 19th century (provenance unknown). Amongst these are this charming cherub, ‘On the Wing’, published by Ackermann & Co., 96 Strand, London, in 1833 (D/DM/223/78).
