Is that a load or what ?!? These trucks almost became extinct during the contrived "Spotted Owl crisis" of the Clinton years. The mainstream media became deadly silent when the fraud came to light but regardless the logging trucks did came back and lumber again became available and more affordable to those who wanted to remodel or outright build a home. Then came the banking crisis when the government pressured banks to make charity loans to the deadbeats and flakes. Elected officials decided it was not "fair" that irresponsible people should be denied loans simply because they wouldn't or couldn't repay them. My bank was one of those that went belly up.
