Strobist Lighting 102 Unit 1.1

Here's the series of shots I took for Unit 1.1. My stunning model Joey was very co-operative for the whole shoot.

Settings were:

Camera 1/125 @ f/5.6

Sigma EF500 Super Flash @ 1/32

Flash head to model about 1200mm

 

I kept the settings fixed for all shots to get an idea of the relative brightness of the flash from each position.

Shots 1 - 6 had the flash level with the model.

Shots 7 - 11 the flash was 45deg above model

Shot 12 had the flash about 30deg below the model.

Shot 3 was taken at the flash position to show what the flash saw in shot 2.

The other angles are fairly obvious at 45, 90, 135 ,180 deg to the model.

Done
