springtime in bethlehem

to me, this city has always seemed a little stuck in 1945. it is small and quaint and most of the commerce is still done in long-standing mom & pop shops - refreshingly free of all the big-box franchises that uglify so many other american cities. but that won't be the case much longer. check out this PBS story on what's going on here.
