Another time

Antony Gormley's 2013 sculpture, entitled Another Time, looks across to Limehouse Cut. Taken from the tiny balcony at the back of The Grapes pub.

The figure, mounted on a metal post, stands on one of the rare stretches of pebble beach on the north bank of the Thames at the back of Narrow Street, Limehouse. This shot was taken at low tide but, as the tide rises, the figure is surrounded by water, until, at very high tide, it appears to be walking on the water, though it is never actually submerged.

Based , once again, on Gormley's own body shape, it is very similar to the series at Crosby in Lancashire, where the figures ( entitled Another Place) stare out across the Mersey.
