I feel all the elements of the brief are here but they are pretty complex and I'll leave the viewer to tease it all out. This is an exhibition named "behind the wire". Artists are current prison inmates who sign up for art/creative expression classes. The venue is the previous labour prison which closed 1979. Outcomes are considered positive: proceeds contentious.
Some money to victims program, some to course costs and 50% to artist
