Matt Granger, I chose this shot because multiple techniques I had first explored in 2014 all came together: using strobes, modifiers, and extension tubes to craft the image in-camera, as well as cleanup, split-toning, and curves in post. I love the richness of the refracted light, and the range of lights and darks produced. Cheers!
