Yeah, that's me, but this little baby is going to make my life much easier. Its range is 30 meters, and it's accurate to 1.5mm (yeah, it works in inches & feet as well, so that's a range of 98.5 feet, accurate to .05 inches). It allows you to add consecutive measurements as well as calculate area and volume. It'll also do height with a little help from Pythagorus when you measure the ground side of the triangle and the hypotenuse. Oh, and with a touch of a button, the measuring plane is either the front or the back of the unit, depending on what's best for the application. One other cool tidbit is that you can approach or retreat from your measuring point, and it self adjusts.
