Actually, this car is customized to the point where it's difficult to tell if it's a '55 or a '56. The grille is from a '54 De Soto and the side trim came from a '55 Pontiac. The vertical bumper guards have been removed and the fender skirts are of the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser style.
