Stanton - Bonna Concrete Plant
A consignment of concrete pipes leaving the Stanton-Bonna pipe manufacturing plant at New Stanton, Derbyshire. The former Stanton Iron Works was famous for its cast steel pipes, but there was also a concrete casting division that manufactured sewer pipes and concrete lamppost columns, this side of the business remains active, although manufacture of concrete lampposts ended some years ago.
