AOT Coaches, R551LGH, Hucknall, 2018
AOT Coaches of Hucknall operated this ex Go North East, NCME bodied Volvo Olympian for a few years on school contract work. New to London General in January 1998, the bus was by now looking tired and can't imagine that it lasted too much longer after I took this snap. I suspect that a trip up North to the Carlton scrap yards would soon be beckoning.
Pictured on Watnall Road, Hucknall the bus is passing to its left, what was then the Hucknall Town FC ground. This has since been redeveloped into a housing estate. Hucknall has literally been doubled in size over the last few years with the amount of new housing being built to extend the town.
