In their search for the ideal parcels van, BRS helped BMC develope the Austin VA. The type was introduced in 1958 and supplied in large numbers until the early ‘seventies. They were built by Star Bodies, the NFC’s in-house bodybuilder and became known as ‘Noddy Vans’.
