WMPTE Bristol VR 4435 at Merry Hill, Wolverhampton, December 1981.

With it rear tyres looking like giant 'POLO' (Lifesaver) mints, WMPTE Bristol VR 4435 (TOE 435N) struggles away from the bus stop outside the Merry Hill Pub, Wolverhampton in heavy snow, bound for the Town Centre in December 1981. This was the best I could do with my Chinon SLR camera, using slow to react Agfa 50ASA slide film, which was struggling to cope with the poor light on the day. But at least it captures something of the scene on that quiet, cold Sunday afternoon so many years ago.
