Signs of Gems
Tucson's annual Gem Show is a big deal, artistically and financially... Signs like this are all around the town...
I will post some of my exhibit photos soon...
So far only beads are on display at the Double Tree Hotel... It is a real treat and the exhibits are fascinating and gorgeous... I hadn't realized how much of what delights us is based on beads...
The craftsmanship and skill of the artists are wonderful to behold... I could spare only about an hour and a half on this visit. I do hope to return soon... I will look for a guide to the locations and times of the exhibits that are open to the public, and not just to large scale buyers and distributors...
