But It Doesn't look Like Ginger... Actually a Brazilian Plume Flower Plant
These flower heads each last about 10 days. If you pick one off when it wilts, a new flower head replaces it. These plants were labeled Ginger where i bought them about six years ago. But they are nothing like Wikipedia's ginger plants.
I am very excited... My two lovely daughters arrived by airplane yesterday. One came from Ohio, and one from New Jersey. They boarded the same plane in Houston. Regular Astronauts. It is very exciting to have them here. I last saw them, and their wonderful families, two summers ago when I rented a house in Bradley Beach, New Jersey for a week. Seeing them all enjoying the beach was a treat I still think about almost every day. As you know, I grew up at the ocean and the beach, and it is definitely my happy place...
Today (Friday) we may go to Sabino Canyon or The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
So if I don't talk to you, have a great weekend and Shabbat Shalom!!
