In cold darkness it waited, silently

The same rain droplets on the window, from the previous photos... this time out of focus, oddly decorating the dark tree outside.

 

The actual scene was dark enough that I needed to try repeatedly until I got a decent capture. Quite a bit of guesswork, and I had no tripod...
