Used & Abused

This small bulldozer stands rusting away (except 2 shiny stainless steel parts) in Pennsylvania woods. Neglected and forgotten, it slowly rusts away.

In the 1920's and '30s many of its precedecessors cleared woodland and carved roads in the mountains. I was told that this was one from that period, but as someone more knowledgeable pointed out (thanks Diamonddog), perhaps this bulldozer is as recent as the 1960s or '70s, which given the public awareness about preserving nature and the hazards of dangerous waste makes the presence of this wreck more poignant. Some townships crack down on owners to remove their unused vehicles abandoned on private property, but clearly no official went into the woods so deep as to find this.
