Alpen glow on cu nimb

Alas, faced with this magnificent display of deep salmon pink alpen glow, with bags full of cameras and no way to get to a place to take an unobstructed photo and no time to set the tripod.

 

Settled for a grab shot from the Olympus P&S as the light started fading. Moments later, all had faded to grey.

Done
