Macross: Hello Mars!
These are some of Takatoku's 1980s cheap vinyl Macross toys. They're round and plump, like Sanrio characters. So instead of "Bye Bye Mars" - from the battle on Mars episode - this is "Hello Mars!"
The Regult Tactical Pods seem to be rather rare. Sets of these Macross vinyls were actually sold in Spencers Gifts stores here in the US during the middle of the 80s, in their orginal Takatoku packaging - a plastic cube with spacers decorated with great Macross graphics. Remember seeing them?
