Restoration beckons for this Welsh VR.
Photographed at Morris's yard in Bridgend on March 30th 1994 was Bristol VRT SKG 895S. New as Western Welsh HR1677 and later serving in the main National Welsh fleet it passed to Morris, Pencoed in August 1992. Withdrawn by November 1993 it is seen here with various panels missing and a stripped down front platform area. I understand it was later put back into use and sold to David, Pontycymer in April 1995.
