Preserved Leicester City Transport 301 (GJF 301N) was one of a large number of Metropolitans operated by the operator. Thirsty beasts at the best of times they were also subject to corrosion issues. During my bus driving career I drove former Tyne & Wear PTE and London Transport examples owned by Rennies of Dunfermline. They really shifted!!
