True Story--Don't do this
So I did something that I've never done before and I regret it now (kind of). Never ever pour lens cleaner directly on the front element of a lens. This is the first and last time I ever will.
It wasn't the most expensive lens but, what you are suppose to do is wad up the tissue and then put the cleaner on the wad (known as a tuft) and then gently rub in circles starting in the center.
So I had top get a new lens, and I like the new one.
