Pistol Dave
Builders Plate
May 2008, Collingwood ON. Howie (just "Howie", like McLovin. Well OK, I just don't know his last name) runs the coolest shop in town, IMO. Called "Finds of All Kinds", it truly lives up to it's name. Vintage furniture, clothing, cameras, movie projectors, toys, records, magazines, you name it. And this.
The MV English River was built right here in Collingwood in 1961 as a general use Great Lakes freighter, and converted in 1973 in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay) to a bulk dry cement carrier. It still plies the Lower Lakes today in the employ of LaFarge, travelling between Bath, ON. and Buffalo, Cleveland and other cities. They recently upgraded their lifeboats and were going to crush the old ones, so Howie, enterprising dude that he is, bought two. Not sure what he's asking, but it'd be a unique runabout for your Muskoka place, that's for sure ;)
