Tallassee General Store - Blount County

Originally Tallassee was a Cherokee settlement prior Chilhowee dam putting it under water. In 1928 a handful of investors tried to create a mountain resort town by the same name 7 miles downstream from the original. It failed terribly and the general store is all thats left.
