This makes me think of Where the Wild Things Are--the movie, not the book.
Alright, so yesterday I went out to my usual photo spot, but there were tons of people there, so I ended up crawling through two barbwire fences to get here instead. I scared about three herds of deer doing it, too.
And then while I was there, someone started practicing their shooting (it wasn't too close to me, or I would have freaked out), but I took that as a cue to leave.
It was the eerie feeling, out in that empty field, listening to silence, except the wind and gunshots.
This hat is homemade, it was inspired by this hat, and made using this pattern, except the ears are my own wacky addition to it.
The soundtrack for Where The Wild Things Are is just really incredible, I bought the whole thing, and it's the other half of this picture, the half that can't be put into picture form. ♫
