Some employees may think that casual Friday means coming to work in club attire and jean shorts. However, that type of attire should not set the stage for your property. That is why your casual Friday dress code policy should be explicitly spelled out.
Employees should be aware of the image they’re presenting when they dress according to their personal environment, and not the work environment. An employee who wants to be taken seriously should dress the part.
You must always remember that the office and the staff are all a reflection on you and the property. So, be proactive and nip the problem in the bud before it occurs. Put together a Casual Friday Policy and enforce it! It will indeed warrant you better results.
