The closure of the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre sent shockwaves through Nottingham as the future of the historic site was thrown into uncertainty. The Broadmarsh lease was handed back to Nottingham City Council last June 2020 when INTU collapsed into administration.
The Greater Broadmarsh site totals an estimated 20 acres in the heart of Nottingham city centre, stretching from Nottingham Castle to the new Nottingham College development. The site incorporates the former Broadmarsh Shopping Centre and former Nottingham College buildings on Maid Marian Way.
