looking up

I was one of the first to get the Canon D30 (first Canon digital camera you could add lenses to). I start shooting digital. I used it on a film call "Open Range" with Kevin C. directing and staring. I sold all my darkroom eq. and film camera's after that film, the digital was that good. I keeped one Hassy 500 C/M with one lense because it was and still is dear to me for personal reasons.

I have been shooting with the Canon 5D and I feel like I miss the MF camera's. I dug out my Hassy, rented a CVF Digital back for a day. This is my first shot with the digital back. It felt good to hold the camera in my hand.

This photo has been cropped. These are my adopted Korean children (my favorite subjects). When my son put his arm around his sister I felt a warm magic feeling in my soul, so I took the shot. They are looking up at a Christmas tree at Disneyland. In the right corner is my granddaughter.
