Porous Tutorial [Zen Magnets]
Sorry for the skips/speed ups/bad quality. Flickr has a limit on data. I'm going to try to explain what happens in the video. Remember, you can pause the video at any time. Uses 175 magnets.
Basically, it starts off with a four-ball-sided decahedron. You remove the same five magnets as shown in the video. Next, add another layer to the decahedron, making it a five-ball-sided decahedron. Then remove the same five magnets. (These holes should line up with the holes you made earlier.) Next, add another layer to the decahedron. Then remove the same magnets as shown in the video. Lastly, flip the decahedron over and repeat the previous step.
