Favorite Photo & Echo Project
The Toronto Skyline Photo taken in 2011 is one of my favorite photos because it was that first photo that I was proud of and really inspired me to want to take photography seriously and pursue it as a career and passion. My intension for this photo was to show nature and the city go hand and hand. The rationale behind the echo photo taken in 2013 was to show contrast. This photo was the last landscape photo that I have taken, so it shows that I have not lost my passion for photography and I still love what I do. There are many similarities in these two photos, such as: The skyline and Power line being in a similar location, they are both landscapes, the clouds, and the depth of field. Also, there is a few contrasting elements in this photo, such as: The colour, the subject, and the foreground (grass &water). The overall impact I want people to get from these two images is that there is a certain beauty in contrasting two images. It shows the clear similarities and differences which make them work very well with each other.
