Wednesday April 2nd, 2014 Day 92 The Joy of Cupcake Cones.

Day 92- In addition to the cake smashed in my face two days ago, were these glorious wonders of sugary deliciousness.

Oh yes, I do love a delicious cupcake baked into a flat-bottomed ice cream cone. YUM!!!

10 things people may not know about me and my birthday.

1) I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!!!!

2) I prefer to celebrate for a week. Why have a single day when you can have a week, right?

3) I'm not a fan of belated celebrations though. I want to celebrate before or on the day because afterward seems like an afterthought and it kind of bums me out to be honest.

Then again, I won't walk away from a party or a present because it's late. I'm picky, not stupid.

4) BTW, I love everything that comes along with birthday celebrations. Bring on the cake, balloons, flowers, presents, cards...you name it. I say, "Rock on with the treats!" :)

5) Yes, my favorite number is 5. Duh?

6) I don't count numbers other than that one. I find a lot of people are deeply ageist and I won't feed into anyone's prejudice. I AM AS OLD AS I FEEL.

7) Seriously, don't ask. It's not really all that relavent. Besides, it's rude to ask someone their age. That's what I was taught by my grandparents when I was a small child and I agree with them completely.

8) Speaking of being a child, I always associate my birthday with Easter because they were often celebrated together with my family. As a result, I have a fondness for bunnies and all things trinket-like.

9) Best birthday presents have always been vacations. I've gone to Europe, Mexico and across the USA as part of three different birthday presents.

 

10) Any birthday you can celebrate where you are healthy and happy is a good birthday.
