January 8th, 2014 Frozen soap bubble Photo 11 of 12

Now here is the difference using a homemade solution of 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup liquid dish washing soap and 1/8 cup corn syrup. The difference was staggering (see earlier photo for the difference) and I was able to capture the process in 12 shots from the start of freezing to when the bubble finally broke in the wind. And remember, in order to get a soap bubble to freeze you need temps between 12°F - 7°F Once it drops lower the freezing time is too quick and they break too fast.
