i took this to experiment with the auto exposure bracket feature of the D80.............NOT for the composition. the lens used was the standard kit lens, 18-135mm, tripod mounted.

 

processed with photomatix and CS3. no additional sharpening was added in photoshop. i love the kit lens. granted, indoors it is slow, but for outdoor shots, i find it to be just fine.
