Lake Champlain Bridge

The Bridge was built in the late 1920s. It is scheduled to be replaced or renovated in the next few years. If you look at the original picture size you can see the rust and deterioration.

 

Right now, there is a traffic light system keeping one lane of traffic open at a time.

 

UPDATE: The Bridge was closed indefinitely to all traffic on October 16, 2009. Major disruption in the North Country

 

Last UPDATE: it was destroyed on December 28, 2090. RIP
