Two waves make it right
After talking at length to one of the fellow foamers at Duplainville about the changes over the years to the feel of railfaning at the popular Wisconsin train watching site, and the negativity that has developed between the railroad and railfans regarding decency and respect for each group lately, it was a breath of fresh air to see my son Mitch and the conductor of CP 199 give each other a friendly gesture in passing Sunday. While just for a moment, all the animosity that has developed lately between MOW crews, train crews, the police and railfans seemed to disappear for a brief moment with this scene.
