This composite is from a sequence of photos taken with a moving subject and a stationary camera, registered (more or less) on the engine front, then combined for a subtractive filter Harris shutter effect (HSE).

 

Details

This modified Harris Shutter Effect image generates colored "ghosts" on a black background. Displaced background elements (versus the frame registered subject) are emphasized while indistinguishable features turn black.
